James Wright is one of Kansas City's busiest and most
sought-after professional actors and singers.
He appears
throughout the midwest and regularly on stages throughout the city, including
The New Theatre Restaurant, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Starlight Theatre,
The Quality Hill Playhouse, The Unicorn Theatre, Musical Theatre Heritage and
The American Heartland Theatre where he earned a Drama Desk nomination for Best
Actor in a Musical for his work in the acclaimed I Love You, Youre Perfect, Now
Change.

James has had the distinct
pleasure of sharing the stage with such stars as Gary Sandy, Jamie Farr, Ann B.
Davis, Karen Valentine, Andy Williams, Kristin Chenoweth, Michele Lee, Patty
Duke and the late, great Don Knotts.
In addition to his stage
performances, he is a regular soloist at St. Margarets Catholic Church, Unity
Village, Unity Church of Independence and Unity Church of Overland Park.
As a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists
(AFTRA) and the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG), James also manages a very busy
commercial acting career, appearing in numerous
television commercials, radio voice-overs, corporate
videos, product jingles and print advertisements. He has also appeared in
two feature films: Suspension and CSA:Confederate States of
America.

released his first CD entitled Absolutely Wright!, romantic and nostalgic songs
written by Carl Bolte, Jr. and his new CD, entitled Center Stage: Songs of
Spirit from the Musical Theatre is available now.
